Well here we are guys, she's back in the beast at last !! I had a few probs getting it back in, biggest prob was the engine crane, it was a few inchs to short to reach back into the engine bay.but we got around that with a few bits of wood to push n shove etc. The engine is set back in the bay so it was a struggle. Next prob then was getting the engine to match up to the gearbox while trying to get the torque converter to slip into the slot in the flywheel.The car being on my drive on a slight hill didn't help either. Once all the bits n bobs were back on i tried to start her,but there was no petrol flowing into the fuel pump. So i poured some petrol down the fuel line above the pump tried again and belive it or not is tried to start. I pulled the choke out and what a roar it made when i tried again. At last the beast is alive again !! I was so pleased that it started after rebuilding it myself...
